June 12 was our regular club assembly.  Mark your calendars for July 14--not only will it be Bastille Day, but we will be trying to beat the heat and do some major Rose work at 7:00 a.m., and then that evening at 6:00 we'll officially be demoting Bernadette (at Phil and Cheryl McDowell's home).  Also, if you didn't sign up at today's meeting, talk to Jeff about volunteering to arrange our program speakers for a month during the coming Rotary year.  Remember, great speakers and great programs make our weekly meetings great!

We also had a very special drop in visit from all nine of the California District High School Rodeo Queens, and this past year's State Queen.  They were all in town for the California State High School Rodeo Finals.  Our club is one of several groups and individuals who help fund a scholarship for the State Rodeo Queen.
