Rotary Club of Bishop Sunrise Thanks Speakers - Bishop Creek Farms

Steve and Bruce from Bishop Creek Farms gave a fascinating presentation about their farm and the local produce that is made available in our area.  Besides describing the virtues of locally produced produce (as opposed to the mass-produced kind available in our supermarkets), they also described a very interesting, small-scale, on-line venture capital program they're involved with to raise the needed money to expand their farm this year.  You can learn more about their funding program at www.kickstarter.com, then enter Bishop Creek Farms in the search box.  Their presentation was so successful that two new clients were signed up that morning.
