Soup Kitchen Thanks!

Thanks to George, Ramona, Rick, Will, Tom, and (I think) Eric for helping out with the al fresco Soup Kitchen at the Methodist Church on June 7.  Because of the High School Senior Class lunch the soup kitchen was held outside on the patio, and we had a great time creating picnic food.  Not sure how many customers showed up, since your editor had to head for Independence after throwing together the macaroni salad.  Our monthly Soup Kitchen stint is always fun, and a great, easy way to give back to our community.  A huge thanks to the good folks at the First United Methodist Church for coordinating the program, and to Roberta, our supervisor, for tolerating the eccentricities of Sunrise Rotarians.
