March 6th speaker: Inyo County School Superintendent Terry MacAteer

Terry MacAteer and Alyssa Toomey were speakers at the March 6th meeting, filling us in on several innovative ways Inyo County schools are helping kids learn math and writing skills (using iPod touches and laptops), and educating us on the educational tournaments sponsored by various service clubs. Bishop Rotary Sunrise voted on the spot to sponsor the Geography Bee to be held later this year, and the Science Fair next year.
